Organizers of Wake the Giant unveiled the entry policy for the September 18th music festival.
All ticket holders and attendees will need to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72-hours before entering the grounds.
“Over the past two years we have been constantly adapting to a changing environment. This decision comes as we learn more about the current landscape and what we can do for the betterment of our community,” explains Organizer Greg Chomut. “Wake the Giant remains committed to keeping recovery efforts moving forward. It’s about taking care of all the people around us and getting back to live music safely.”
If you have both doses of a vaccine, you can either show the paper vaccination card or a picture of it on your phone.
Children between the ages of 2 and 11 are not required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
Masks must be worn at all times except when consuming food or drink in the designated areas.
Oak Medical Pharmacy (620 Arthur Street) will provide rapid COVID-19 tests on Friday, September 17th (9:00 am- 7:00 pm) and on Saturday, September 18th (9:00 am- 1:00 pm), for a discounted cost of $20 per test.
