Bombardier’s contract with the Toronto Transit Commission is coming to an end.
Officials tell us they are optimistic the company will meet their agreed deadline of the end of 2019.
So far the TTC has 144 street cars out of the 204 in the contract.
They say they’ve seen improvements in the delivery rates since they added production at their Kingston plant and remain optimistic they will meet the agreed deadline.
