Public School officials are making sure parents talk to their children after today’s scary incident in the area of Woodcrest School.
A 10 year old girl was accosted by a stranger in around Minstrel Bay and Scarlet Avenue.
Board spokesperson Jeff Upton tells us they have sent a letter home to parents but suggests they are not trying to alarm anyone.
He says they want to send a message out to parents and guardians on ways to talk to their children about staying safe.
There were some on social media who said they were driving their children to and from school as a result of the incident.
