Mackenzie Blackwood has been placed on the NHL’s COVID-19 list.
The New Jersey Devils netminder and Thunder Bay product is on the list for a few reasons, which could include close contact exposure. Being placed on the list doesn’t necessarily mean that Blackwood has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Blackwood joins fellow Thunder Bay product Jordan Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes on the list.
