Bike Lanes Close For Winter

You’ll only have a few more days to use Thunder Bay’s bike lanes.

They will be closing Nov. 15, 2021 and will not reopen until Apr. 30, 2022.

This will mean some restrictions for on-street parking in certain bike lanes will be lifted, and the city is asking you to check signs before parking your car.

Drivers need to know that cyclists will still be riding, and you should always be aware of your surroundings on the road.

Thunder Bay’s bike lanes are scheduled to reopen on May 1, 2022, as spring street sweeping allows.
