It’s the last birthday in honour of Benny Birch at Chippewa Park.
Fundraising celebrations were cancelled yesterday as a result of the rain, but will continue throughout today.
Spokesperson Katrina O’Neil says they’re not sure what they’ll do to raise money after Benny’s retired.
The St. Joseph’s Foundation is retiring the mascot after 33 years and raising over one million dollars.
