Bedtime Stories with Dolly Parton!!!

I read to my kids every night, and I have for years, but sometimes they want to hear another voice. My youngest and I have been burning through the Dr. Seuss library in my house while my middle and older sons have been asking for more involved and adventurous reads in the last little while. This weekend, I saw something come across my feed and I spoke out loud before I read the entire story BUT I was pretty excited…country singer/pop star/role model/icon Dolly Parton has launched ‘Goodnight With Dolly’ through her not for profit organization ‘Imagination Library‘. So far Dolly, who sits in a bed in pajamas and reading glasses, has read ‘The Little Engine That Could’ and ‘The Coat of Many Colors’. She reads the story and the pictures are shown as well, giving a great visual to go along with her soothing voice. You can see the first two stories below, and follow the Imagination Library page on YouTube to hear/see new stories every week (Llama Llama Red Pajama comes out on Thursday night!). My middle son is SUPER excited and to be honest, so am I!
