The royal visit to Toronto today has Northwestern Ontario connections. Nishnawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief Stan Beardy spent a few moments with Prince Charles and presented him with a book called “Treaty No. 9.” Beardy feels Prince Charles was very “Genuinely” receptive to his message of keeping existing treaty’s in the minds of royalty.
