Classes and activities have resumed as normal at Holy Family Elementary School.
Students were asked to shelter in place on Monday morning after a bear was spotted across the street from the school on Rosslyn Road.
The security measure was put in place as a precaution.
The school was reopened around 12:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
