Autism Fight To Resume Next Month

When MPP’s arrive back to Queen’s Park next month they will be greeted by the parents of autistic children. It will be part of a province-wide protest rally.

Thunder Bay spokesperson Alina Cameron explains the parents want to press the Ford government to act on the file, specifically, the length of time it is taking to roll out an autism program in Ontario.

She says families are “exhausted” and “many are in crisis” noting there has not been a northern strategy announced yet with “very little movement from the government.”

The February 18th protest will also take place at city hall.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
