Thunder Bay’s city council has tossed around the idea of tearing down the Marina Park pedestrian overpass.
At-Large Councillor Aldo Ruberto brought the idea up at council last month, citing concerns about cleaniless and people loitering around it. He adds it’s not worth the cost of fixing up, while other councillors such as Andrew Foulds disagrees.
We took our news mic into the community and asked this question: Do you think city council should tear the overpass down?
City administration points to its’ heavy use during events at the Marina, but it would need repairs due to issues such as corrosion.
