Armed Robbery At Mac’s Store

The North Edward Street Mac’s Convenience Store has been robbed again.

Police report it happened at around 10:40 last night.

They say a man with his face covered and brandishing a knife, demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk and then ran off.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as Indigenous, 6’2″ tall with a heavy build.

He was wearing a black toque with a Team Canada logo on it along with a white sweatshirt.

This is the fourth armed robbery at the same store in about a week.
