Appointments Opening For Youth Vaccinations

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is launching their immunization campaign for 5 to 11 year olds.

Beginning Tuesday, November 23rd at 8 a.m., you will be able to book appointments for the age group. Appointments for the CLE Coliseum clinic have been set up for the next few weeks, with evening and weekend options available.

Along with this there will also be appointments available at TBDHU run clinics in certain district communities.

If you wish to book an appointment, you will be able to do so through the provincial booking system.

Currently, there is no walk-in option and you must book ahead of time to get your 5 to 11 year old their shot.

There is also access to vaccinations through select pharmacies and many primary care providers.

This move comes as the district reported a jump to 30 active cases on Monday.
