Anti-Violence March Draws Crowd

Local residents are speaking against crime in the City.
Over 200 residents lit up the south side of the city last night in memory of Brandi Wingert and other victims of violent crime.
McKellar Ward Councillor Paul Pugh attended and says gathering as a community is a good step towards healing.
Organizers of the event said they were overwhelmed with the response from the community.
Meanwhile, a group of motorcyclists headed by a man known as Bulldozer rode from the Dease Park Pool to Brandi’s Donald Street home for their own candlelight vigil.
Entire families took part in the march saying they wanted to show their respect to Brandi’s family. (Photo by Sheri Leviski Kotyk)
