Answering The Call To Run In TB-Rainy River

With many requests to make a run at federal office, Adelina Pecchia has decided that 2021 is the time to pursue it.

In a conversation with Acadia News, the now Conservative candidate in Thunder Bay-Rainy River chose to put her name forward to ensure that the Canada she grew up in helps shape the Canada of the future.

“What I’m doing right now in my work is really no different than being a politician,” says Pecchia. “I believe that most politicians care about people but what I want is for Canada to be a place of resource, care, and renewal for all who are coming after us.

Pecchia has worked as a pastor, associate, and worship leader.

Despite calling this an unnecessary election, Pecchia hopes to drive up voter turnout

“My hope is that for those who have not voted especially will understand the importance of taking the time to go and vote and vote for change,” notes Pecchia.

Election day is Monday September 20th.
