Thunder Bay has another candidate vying for the title of Mayor this fall.
Mariann Sawicki tells us for her crime is a major election issue.
“We can maybe have the police officers walking the beat more, and being out there because I think it would deter people from doing anything wrong when they see police officers walking around.”
She also calls for the community to come together and start doing neighbourhood watch.
