Anonymous Donation Helps Charity

George Jeffrey Children’s Centre is getting close to $25,000 from an anonymous donor.

Centre spokesperson Kirsten Untinen tells us they’re blown away by the generosity.

“We are thrilled. It’s so great to have the community step forward and support us. We want to let the donor know this is going to have a huge impact and enrich the lives of children.”

The money will be going towards programs for families that have trouble accessing the centre.

“Going to be implementing several programs for families that have barriers getting to our centre. We’ll be funding new equipment for our seating and mobility program, physical therapy program. Just making several improvements to accessibility around the centre” Untinen explained.
