An interesting Council Update – with Councillor Foulds

Councillor Foulds and I have a lot of fun going back and forth discussing city issues and city politics.
Last night there were some confusing conversations at council. For example…

  • Why do we need 3 months to consider a rainbow cross walk to support the incredible work of the Thunder Pride team and all they’ve done for the community? It’s paint. And the lines are already there – colour them in.
  • Ohh boy…. Council didn’t like the price tag on the 35 signs they ask for a report on. On May 6th they asked for a report on what it would cost to install wayfinding signs from Price Arthur’s Landing to Hillcrest Park. They got the report – and didn’t like the price tag. Thank goodness!!
  • And, am I the only one that didnt know the city was planning a walking trail from the Marina to the current river….that included…..A BRIDGE over the tracks? Apparently.

Never a boring conversation with the fine Councillor – listen to it here.
