The Association of Management, Administrative and Professional Crown Employees of Ontario have reached a tentative agreement with the province.
The union, which represents about 17,000 employees has a tentative three-year deal.
It calls for a 7 percent increase over that time period, plus improved benefits and maintains flexible work.
The union represents professional and supervisory public servants.
Treasury Board president Caroline Mulroney confirms the deal.
“I am very pleased that we have reached a tentative agreement with AMAPCEO. Particularly in times of economic uncertainty, good-faith collective bargaining is a necessary and important process that benefits all parties.”
Both sides have yet to ratify the agreement.
