It’s a happy day for me because, at long last, Alex Trebek has returned to the wonderful world of facial hair! The “Jeopardy” host, and legendary Canadian, debuted his new look to kick off the show’s 35th season. Personally, Mr. Trebek has never looked the same to me since he shaved off his signature moustache years ago. I’ve been clamouring for it’s return, and it’s finally back, but this time with a furry friend! Beards are a lot more popular these days than straight-up staches, so I’ll take it!
Twitter, as you might expect, took Trebek’s beard and ran with it. Of course, there’s a clever name to go along with it. #AlexTrebeard was trending, and Jeopardy’s official account threw down a Twitter poll, should Alex shave? So far there’s been almost 16,000 votes, with 73% on Team Beard!
