Going from Yellow to Orange in the Internal Pandemic Response.
In an email to Acadia News Thursday, spokesperson Marcello Bernardo says the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is moving from the Protect to the Restrict stage immediately.
It’s in response to the increase in cases of COVID-19 within the community, Ontario as well as the growing threat of the Omicron variant.
There are three patients being treated for COVID-19 with two of those in the Intensive Care Unit.
