Active COVID Cases Dips To 49

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the region is now below 50.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is reporting eight new cases over the last two days.

There was also one death reported bringing the total number of deaths in the district since the pandemic began to 59.

There are currently 49 active cases of the coronavirus.
