Accusation Of Hiring Interference At Hydro One

Accusations from Ontario’s Opposition the Premier’s Chief of Staff meddled in Hydro One executive hiring.

After claiming the government doesn’t get involved, Energy Minister Greg Rickford says the government has moved to make Hydro One more accountable.

However, the province’s NDP leader believes the government is violating an agreement it made with Hydro One.

Andrea Horwath accused the Premier’s Chief of Staff of interfering with executive board hiring at the provincial utility.

She insists for the government to interfere with Hydro One is a violation of its agreement with the utility.
