Provincial police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 17 east of Kenora that left a transport driver dead. Yesterday’s collision resulted in the closure of the Trans-Canada Highway for several hours. Police say a westbound tractor-trailer unit jackknifed near Dogtooth Lake and was struck by an eastbound transport. Highway 17 was reopened to one lane of traffic at about noon yesterday.
