Acadia Broadcasting, the owner of Magic 99.9 and Country 105.3 , is expanding its reach in the Maritimes.
The owner has made an application to the Canadian Radio Television and Telecommunications Commission to purchase CJLS radio in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The proposed acquisition still requires the approval of the CRTC.
Acadia already owns 13 stations and six repeaters in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario. It’s headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick.
