A Practical Life Hack!

Have you got a pasta lover in your family? My middle son LOVES pasta and invariably he’ll ask me to make him some for lunch and then want it again for supper or for lunch the next day, usually it’s just not as good. Well, if you are reheating pasta, here’s a little trick for you! Save some of the water that you originally cooked the pasta in and put it in with the noodles you are reheating. It will help to revive the noodles properly! I had no idea! It’s recommended that you save at least a cup of the starchy water from your pasta pot and keep it in the fridge. Add at least a couple of tablespoons to the leftovers and stir it in gently as you warm it on the stove. You can microwave it as well, just make sure to cover the bowl loosely and stop to stir occasionally. This tip could actually change things around my place when it comes to getting my kids to eat leftovers!
