MPP To Introduce Private Members Bills

Thunder Bay’s newest MPP is anxious to get down to business now that the legislature is getting back in session today.

The NDP’s Judith Monteith-Farrell has her eye on changing a couple of laws in the province though the introduction of some private members bills.

Her two top priorities are, increasing Canadian content regulations in government contracts and secondly to increase the amount of Indigenous learning in the provincial school curriculum.

The MPP adds she is curious to see how the Ford government will make up the money lost with the elimination of cap and trade. (File photo)

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
