Thunder Bay Police arrest three in drug bust

Two 47-year-olds from Thunder Bay and a 31-year-old from Toronto are facing trafficking charges after a Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) search of two homes on Finlayson Street turned up almost $20,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine.

The search also turned up two guns — an assault rifle and a handgun.

One of the Thunder Bay locals has been charged with several firearm-related offences in addition to the trafficking charges.

He remains in custody following a court appearance.

The other two suspects have been released from custody with a future court date.
