Quebec man arrested for stabbing incidents

Thunder Bay Police have made an arrest in connection to a couple of stabbings in the Red River Road area.

Police were contacted Friday afternoon around 1 pm after a person was stabbed and taken to hospital for treatment.

A suspect was located nearby and arrested.

As part of their investigation, additional victims were identified.

A 54-year-old man from Quebec has been charged with Aggravated Assault, two counts of Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.

He’s been held in custody following a first court appearance.
