A 21-year old Fort Frances man faces dangerous driving charges after a single-vehicle crash sent him to hospital.
The collision happened around 5 pm Friday afternoon.
According to police, his vehicle lost control and went into a ditch off Highway 11 near Eva Lake.
A passenger suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was treated for minor injuries.
Police say members of the public provided emergency first aid and investigative assistance.
Investigators allege the driver was operating the vehicle dangerously and violating conditions of previous binding promises to police.
The man was taken into custody by the police and held for a bail hearing.
He has since been released with a later court date.
