Dee Learns a New Word: Snizzling

This morning started with a classic Thunder Bay weather curveball – not quite snow, not quite drizzle… just a weird, misty mix that made you squint and say, “What is this?”

Enter: Tessa. She texted in with a word that stopped me in my tracks.

Snizzling.

Yes. It’s real. It’s a mash-up of snow and drizzling, and it perfectly describes that damp, slushy sprinkle that isn’t dramatic enough to be snow, but definitely not just rain. It’s the kind of weather that makes your boots soggy and your windshield confused.
