RYAN EATON

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ryan Eaton announce his unexpected passing, at home, on March 1, 2026.

Ryan was born in Thunder Bay on February 12, 1993. He attended St. Paul, Bishop Gallagher and St. Ignatius Schools. As a little boy Ryan loved Batman, his dinosaurs, wrestling, swimming and camping. He also loved snowboarding with his sister and friends. He was currently working for Armstrong the Mover, which became his work family. Ryan’s love was music. His passion was playing the guitar with his band. His friends meant the world to him. He was a very talented musician with a big heart and a big beard and a big voice that could be heard all over the room. He loved going over to his parents for supper, eating everything in the fridge and staying the night.

Ryan is lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by his mom Cheryl, pops Steve, sister Jessica (Ryan), daughter Sophie, fur nieces Bella and Zoe, grandparents James and Diane Eaton, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan was predeceased by his grandparents Edith and Bill Whitehurst and great grandparents.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held March 21 at the Hodder Tavern at 2pm. Donation to the Dew Drop Inn would be appreciated.

Ryan lived life by his rules, no shame, no BS.
