The family is deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Gisele Dumais at the Geraldton District Hospital on Tuesday February 23, 2026, at the age of 84.
Gisele will be remembered for her big heart – love of family and the many friends she helped throughout her lifetime.

She is survived by her 2 sons; Stephane (Stephanie) and Danny (Betty); grandsons Destin (Jessica), Joshua (Tammy) and Cohen; granddaughter Bailee and Nevaeh; and great grandchildren Lyanna, Kyah, Jayda and Tallyah. Gisele is also survived by 5 of her 14 siblings, Alain, Rosaire, Regis, Gaston Gagne, and Maryse Brodeur.
Gisele is predeceased by her husband Fernand (2015), 8 siblings, and her parents.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place in the summer, with interment in Geraldton Cemetery.

Arrangements are in care of Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
