Pot Roast-Gate: Dee Calls Her Boyfriend About The Overnight Disaster (Audio)

You ever spend hours making the perfect pot roast – the kind that makes the whole house smell like a hug — only for your boyfriend to forget to put it in the fridge?

Yeah. That happened.

My beautiful, tender, slow‑cooked masterpiece sat on the counter all night like a cautionary tale. By morning, it wasn’t dinner. It was a bacteria convention. And yes, I absolutely called him to remind him that not only did he commit a culinary crime… he also robbed himself of the leftovers.

Hear the conversation here, where I lovingly – lovingly – rub it in that he won’t be tasting that pot roast again.

(And for the record: food left out overnight is a no-go. Once it sits in the “danger zone” for more than two hours, bacteria multiply faster than my annoyance. Reheating won’t save it. Your stomach will not thank you. Trust me.)
