The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has delivered the city’s first baby of 2026.
A baby girl was born to parents Kaiyah and Chris at 3:21 p.m. on Thursday, January 1.
The family has yet to choose a name for their daughter, who weighs 5 pounds and 8 ounces.
The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre’s Volunteer Association will be donating a special gift to the family to celebrate the moment.
