Pedestrian injured in collision in Thunder Bay

Thunder Bay Police say a pedestrian is in serious condition after being hit by a motor vehicle in the city’s north end.

The collision took place around 8 pm last night on Cumberland Street North and closed a section of the roadway.

The pedestrian was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Center for treatment of their injuries.

The road was finally reopened around 1 am this morning.

The Thunder Bay Police’s Traffic Unit continues its investigation.
