Police arrest man for assault, robbery

Officers of the Thunder Bay Police Service Break Enter Armed Robbery Unit and Primary Response Unit arrested a 27-year-old man on Tuesday for stabbing a victim multiple times.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition.

Upon being identified, the arrested individual was also charged for allegedly committing a robbery at a convenience store on Cumberland Street North last week.

The accused is currently in police custody and will face the courts at a later date.
