Is it possible to have a ‘stress-free Christmas’?

December is almost here.  Are you starting to feel all “christmassy” (is that even a word)?

No doubt, it can be a stressful time right?  From shopping to dinner planning, to parties, and kids and the in-laws.  Here are some of the ways you can make it a ‘stress-free Christmas’ – according to the website, “Almost The Weekend”.

The experts say:

Decide what matters to you most. This is probably the most important factor to enjoy the festive season.  It could actually be – going all out at Christmas, or pairing back and making it a simple one.

Start by doing one thing to get yourself in the Christmas mood (could be something like unpacking the Christmas mugs / putting out the Christmas candles)

Opt out of things you don’t want to do at Christmas.  Set some boundaries.  If you feel forced to host the holiday supper this year – like you have in the past – and want to give that a break…go for it.  AND, don’t feel bad about it.  Just have the conversation with those involved and do it!  MAKE IT A STRESS FREE CHRISTMAS. (maybe?)
