Police arrest five people after drug seizure in Thunder Bay

Five people are facing charges after police in Thunder Bay conducted a search at two residences.

According to Thunder Bay Police, officers executed search warrants at two addresses on October 2 in the 200 block of Amelia St.

As a result of the investigation, a 45-year-old and 56-year-old from Thunder Bay have been arrested on drug charges.

Three others from Southern Ontario were also taken into custody.

Police say they also uncovered more than $15,000 in cash during the search.

All five have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (for cocaine and opioid) as well as other charges.
