Thunder Bay water bills still being issued amid Canada Post Strike

Thunder Bay is reminding residents that water bills are going to be issued as scheduled despite the ongoing Canada Post Strike.

The next bill set to go out is for Section Three customers, which includes the Westfort, East End, Parkdale, Arthur St, Victoria Ave and 25th Side Road areas.

Delivery to this section is starting the week of October 13.

Customers are advised that bill due dates remain in effect, and payment is expected on or before the due date, November 14, 2025.

Section Three residents submitted meter readings in September.

To receive October bills electronically, customers must sign up for e-billing by October 13.

Residents who do not sign up for e-billing will have their bill mailed as soon as Canada Post services resume.

The bills will reflect the amount due at the time of billing, not at the time you receive it.

If payment is not received by the due date, penalties and fees will apply.

Residents enrolled in pre-authorized payment plans will have their amount due withdrawn on the due date.

You can contact the Revenue Division at 807-625-2255 with any questions.
