Something Strange Is Stirring in Thunder Bay… The Unknown Beckons – October 18–19, 2025

As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the daylight fades, something unseen begins to awaken in Thunder Bay…

Whether you’re a seasoned paranormal investigator or simply curious about the unexplained, everyone is welcome at the 2nd Annual Lake Superior Paranormal Convention. This unique event offers something for all levels of interest — from hands-on workshops and chilling investigations to expert speakers and over 50 vendors of the strange and unusual.

This year, ParaCon returns bigger and bolder, expanding from a one-day event into a four-day supernatural experience. Brought to life by Lucky Paranormal — a dedicated local investigation team — the convention now features more speakers, more vendors, and a packed schedule of add-on events, including fireside storytelling and a gallery reading with psychic medium Kerrilynn Shellhorn.

The inception of the Lake Superior Paranormal Convention was inspired by the couple’s shared passion for the paranormal and their desire to create a platform for like-minded individuals to connect and share experiences. Their dedication to the field is evident in their extensive investigations across various locations, including the Silver Islet General Store, Fort William Historical Park, and the Carl Beck House in Penetanguishene. Through their endeavors, they aim to shed light on the mysteries surrounding haunted sites and provide insights into the unexplained phenomena that captivate many.

Dive into cutting-edge research on UFOs, spirits, and cryptids, hear firsthand stories from renowned investigators, and connect with the vibrant and growing paranormal community in Northern Ontario.

This year’s speakers include:
