Drugs/imitation weapons found during drug bust on Fort William First Nations

Two people face charges following the discovery of cocaine and crack cocaine in Fort William First Nation.

Provincial Police, Nishnawbe Aski Police Service and Anishinabek Police Service say 45 grams of cocaine and 110 grams of crack cocaine were found after they executed a warrant at a home in the community.

Police also found six imitation firearms, a prohibited weapon, $1,500 in cash and other drug-related items.

Police also seized a vehicle.

A 40-year-old from Fort William First Nation and a 25-year-old from Thunder Bay were arrested on several charges.

They were scheduled for court appearances today.
