Anishinaabe Keeshigun takes place this weekend

A celebration of Indiginous culture is taking place this weekend.

Anishinaabe Keeshigun is an annual festival and is Fort William Historical Park’s longest running events.

It will take place Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 am both days.

In addition to entainment, there will be hands-on activities and demonstrations that highlight Indigenous traditions, language and technology.

This year’s event will also include a Pow Wow and a community feast.
