Canadian Lakehead Exhibition wraps up its 135th year

A beloved summer tradition in Thunder Bay has wrapped up for yet another year.

This marked the 135th year for the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition (CLE).

It is a change for the community to come together and celebrate agriculture, culture and entertainment.

Thousands made their way through the CLE grounds over the past five days to check out the many activities and events.

It included musical performances, cooking shows, vendors and, of course, the midway rides.

Officials estimate the exhibition generates more than $8 million in spending for the city.
