$311,000 in illegal drugs seized in Thunder Bay

Three people, two from Toronto, are facing charges after police searched a home in Thunder Bay.

Officers conducted the search on Gemstone Drive on Monday.

Three suspects were found inside, and they were arrested.

Officers also seized suspected cocaine and fentanyl, as well as more than $5,000 in cash.

The estimated value of the drugs seized is $311,000.

As a result, a 26-year-old and a 24-year-old from Toronto, as well as a 39-year-old from Thunder Bay, have been charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine)
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

All of the accused remain in custody with a future court date.
