POSTPONED Thunder Pride Festival: A Celebration of Love and Inclusion

Thunder Bay’s most vibrant celebration of diversity returns this Saturday at the Friendship Gardens. From 1 to 5 p.m., the park will be filled with music, performances, community booths, and family-friendly activities. One of the highlights this year is the Thunder Pride Parade, bringing even more colour and joy to the day. It’s a celebration of love in all its forms, and everyone is welcome. Border Cats vs. Rochester Honkers: Baseball Under the Lights (and Sun)

Waverley Park Summer Concert Series Kicks Off

The Waverley Park Summer Concert Series launches its 2025 season with a double bill of local talent. Mood Indigo opens the evening with smooth jazz at 6:30 p.m., followed by John Scaffeo and Friends at 7:30 p.m. with some heartfelt country gospel. Bring a lawn chair, a picnic, and enjoy this free community concert series every Monday through August 25.


Teddy Bear’s Picnic: A Day of Whimsy and Wonder

Bring your favourite teddy bear and join the fun at Fort William Gardens for the annual Teddy Bear’s Picnic. This long-running family event features a stage show, teddy bear parade, face painting, food vendors, a Boo-Boo Bear Station for teddy repairs, and a First Responders display. It’s a magical day for kids and families—and it’s all free.
