Mayor’s Court Hearing Winds Down

The nine day preliminary proceedings for Mayor Keith Hobbs, his wife Marisa and co-accused Mary Voss are expected to come to a close today.

Testimony wrapped up earlier this week with 19 witnesses expected to have been called.

A media ban was put in place on the very first day of the obstruction of justice and extortion case for the Hobbses.

It covers many of the details in the case and limits what we can tell you.

Closing arguments are expected to take much of today.

A judge will decide at a later date if there is enough evidence for this matter to go to trial.

All three accused were in court for the proceedings. (File photo)
