A summer storm that rolled through Thunder Bay on Canada Day has knocked out the power in some areas of Chippewa Park.
The amusement rides are temporarily closed until power is restored and safety testing can be completed.
Power at the park’s pavilion was also affected, and the canopy over the boat ride was damaged.
The boat ride will be closed until repairs are complete.
Synergy North is working to resolve the issue, but there is no estimate on when the repairs will be complete.
