Expect to see Thunder Bay police strolling around Marina Park, making sure Canada Day celebrations go off without a hitch.
Officer Mark Cattani wants everyone to know how accessible they’ll be.
“If people do see anything that they consider to be suspicious, or see anything they want to direct police’s attention to, it shouldn’t be difficult to find us walking around.”
Cattani reminds drivers to watch out for an increased amount of pedestrians during the big day.
The officer also points out police are also shutting down a portion of Water Street for the fireworks display in the evening.
