One person is facing a charge following a city police investigation on Amelia Street West.
Officers were sent to the area on Monday just before midnight after receiving reports about a person with a weapon.
On-scene officers learned that multiple suspects had entered a home.
The area was contained, and officers attempted to speak with the suspects.
After over six hours, the situation came to an end on Tuesday morning around 6:15 a.m.
No injuries were reported, and there is no threat to public safety.
Multiple people were arrested in the home, but they have all been released without charges, except for one individual.
The accused, a 34-year-old, has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused has been released from custody with a future court date.
